Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated build experience through a portfolio, internships, open-source contributions, or hackathons.
  • One to two years of engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool, to build, debug, or ship working software through coursework, internships, open-source contributions, hackathons, or personal projects.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving artificial intelligence tools by evaluating, adopting, and migrating between models, agents, and platforms.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and concisely.
  • Comfort interfacing directly with customers in a high-touch capacity to drive adoption and surface real-world feedback.
  • Strong ownership and problem-solving ability, including driving issues to verified resolution.
  • Ability to build relationships across the company to effectively design products.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate model performance and improve prompt effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Ability to design with a detail-oriented approach and solve problems effectively.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to scope project timelines and meet appropriate deadlines.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to execute on deadlines.
  • Creativity and an open mindset for experimentation and internal research and development.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Careful handling of sensitive healthcare data, least-privilege access, auditability, and secure operational practices.
  • Ability to use telephone and computer systems for prolonged periods of desk, computer, and reading work.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and evolve operational workflows for routing, task creation, campaigns, automation, and program logic.
  • Partner with Product and Operations to ensure workflow configuration reflects real operations and reduces failure modes.
  • Build internal helpers and tools that make workflows easier to operate and safer to change.
  • Build and maintain agent workflows that handle operational tasks end-to-end, including tool use, guardrails, escalation paths, and failure handling.
  • Observe real workflows, identify friction, and ship improvements that reduce manual work and increase closure.
  • Maintain reusable components and templates so solutions do not need to be rebuilt for every customer.
  • Build and iterate automated agents that interact with patients and customers through voice, messaging, or other channels.
  • Ensure automated-agent behavior is operationally correct, measurable, properly routed, and followed up appropriately.
  • Apply quality gates and playbooks for customer-facing automation, including testing and evaluations, rollout and rollback, and post-deployment verification.
  • Learn customers' real operations and constraints to identify where outcomes break.
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, and customer stakeholders to advance adoption through new workflows, higher volume, broader scope, and deeper usage.
  • Turn early signals into tightly scoped pilots with measurable success criteria and clear timelines.
  • Convert repeated customer needs into scalable templates, components, and playbooks.
  • Push viable solutions into production through small increments, clear ownership, and verifiable results.
  • Create or upgrade validation mechanisms such as simulations, structured reviews, evaluation sets, regression checks, audit queries, and dashboards.
  • Research artifacts, logs, customer workflows, and tool capabilities to choose appropriate approaches and avoid rework.
  • Write runbooks, checklists, and documentation explaining how systems work.
  • Pair with teammates, share patterns and pitfalls, and contribute to high-quality execution.
  • Help newer hires ramp faster through clear documentation and lightweight support.
  • Own outcomes for touched workflows through triage, root-cause analysis, fixes, and verification.
  • Ship changes through a tracked process with traceability, including pull requests, reviews, versioning, and release notes.
  • Include appropriate validation, rollout and rollback planning, and post-deployment verification for meaningful changes.
  • Follow specific operational playbooks when they apply.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with other OpenAI products.
  • Experience building automation or agents, evaluation sets, or quality gates.
  • Experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, or technical operations.
