Requirements
  • A doctoral degree in School Psychology from an APA-accredited Doctoral program that has been conferred by the start of the Fall semester.
  • Applicants must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist and as a school psychologist in Texas.
Responsibilities
  • Teach, conduct research projects, and serve as an advisor within our Doctoral (APA-accredited and NASP-approved) and Specialist (NASP-accredited) programs.
  • Chair and serve on dissertation committees.
  • Interest in program leadership duties such as test library coordinator, practicum & internship coordinator, or program coordinator, that fit with their experience and expertise.
  • Graduate teaching may be tailored to match applicants’ areas of specialization; ideal candidates will have an interest and expertise in our assessment sequence (e.g., cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, social-emotional) or our practice sequence (e.g., therapeutic and crisis intervention, behavioral interventions, multicultural psychology, practicum/internship). However, those with other research interests related to school psychology are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong publication and presentation record indicating an established and growing program of research.
  • Interest in program leadership duties, such as test library coordinator, practicum & internship coordinator, or program coordinator.
