Strategic Operations Manager - Washington
Nursa is a healthcare platform that directly addresses the severe staffing challenges confronting the U.S. healthcare system by connecting qualified registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) seeking flexible work with facilities in need of help. Role overview:
As Nursa continues to drive business growth, the company is seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to build our business from the ground up. As a Strategic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for launching and scaling Nursa in new markets, being directly responsible for securing both supply (i.e., clinicians) and demand (i.e., facilities). You will be required to establish product and market fit, develop a critical mass of sufficient supply and demand to generate momentum in the market, and establish pricing strategies and operational processes to ensure long-term success.
We are prioritizing candidates in the following locations:
Seattle, WA
Portland, OR
Boise, ID
However, we’re open to candidates in other locations within the states of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. This role will require a significant amount of travel and on-site operations work with clinicians and facilities- between 75-100% expected. We’re looking for someone who is excited about the nomad life and wants to travel as part of their career.
We will also consider exceptionally well-qualified candidates for the level of Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities:
You will take complete ownership of Nursa’s growth in your region and will persevere through any challenge to complete the task.
You are an operator through and through. You are decisive, resilient, and have an innate ability to develop processes and playbooks to scale your impact.
You love setting strategy and developing data-driven insights. In this role you will be expected to develop an investment thesis for entering new markets, establishing strategies for entry and pricing levels, and from there execute on your vision.
You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on with problem solving.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, start-up, operations, or related experience
Data-driven mindset: you love analyzing data and using it to achieve business impact
People-focused: You are a natural extrovert, and would feel at home in a role where you’re presenting to a group of prospective clinicians in the morning, and working hands-on with facilities in the afternoon to get them signed up and onboarded to the Nursa platform.
Relationship-driven: You’re comfortable managing relationships, building trust, and have strong sales and account management instincts
Self-motivated and self-starter who works well independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills
Proven ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
High-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is a plus, but not required
