Requirements
  • A recognized diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Business communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Extensive use of email and the internet for information transfer and job-related research is required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Candidates must reside within 80 km of the Mississauga, Ontario facility.
Responsibilities
  • Direct the activities of the Field Service, Technical Services, and Product Warranty functions for all Cooper Lighting product lines.
  • Provide vendors with guidelines regarding warranty, field complaints, and rejected materials.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support with customer service for the agent network, customer service group, factory sales organization, and channel partners.
  • Analyze problems and provide corrective actions to eliminate future issues, including fixture design changes or alternative manufacturing methods.
  • Initiate the appropriate resolution for customer complaints, including negotiating resolutions with customers, authorizing product repair or replacement, and authorizing refunds or credits.
  • Manage the Canadian Warranty Budget.

Signify repurchases 127K shares for $2.8M in share buyback programme

Signify, the world leader in lighting, repurchased 126,776 shares between 23 and 27 February 2026 at an average price of €20.11 per share, totalling €2.5 million. The buyback forms part of a programme announced on 13 February 2026. The company will use the shares to cover obligations from its long-term incentive performance share plan and other employee share schemes. To date, Signify has repurchased 266,276 shares under this programme for a total consideration of €5.3 million. Signify, listed on Euronext as LIGHT, reported sales of €5.8 billion in 2025 and employs approximately 27,000 people across over 70 markets.
