Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field and at least 7 years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, information security, or technology governance in financial services, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A proven track record of implementing governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and compliance programs for emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and security requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with auditors, regulators, and compliance teams.
  • A strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning lifecycle management, including model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, master data management, Golden Record, Canonical Models, and regulatory compliance in financial services.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms, including AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure AI, and GCP Vertex.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001/42001, and CIS Controls.
  • The ability to translate complex artificial intelligence and security concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Legal authority to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Define and implement enterprise-wide artificial intelligence governance frameworks to ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of artificial intelligence in financial operations.
  • Develop and enforce artificial intelligence security standards aligned with regulatory requirements including FFIEC, OCC, GLBA, GDPR, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF.
  • Partner with risk, compliance, and legal teams to create policies covering artificial intelligence model lifecycle management, bias detection, explainability, and auditability.
  • Oversee secure artificial intelligence and machine learning solution deployment in on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring robust data protection and encryption practices.
  • Conduct artificial intelligence security risk assessments, threat modeling, and red-team testing for generative artificial intelligence and predictive models.
  • Establish monitoring frameworks for artificial intelligence systems to track drift, anomalies, and adversarial threats.
  • Provide architectural guidance on integrating artificial intelligence platforms with existing banking systems including ACH, RTP, Wires, Core Banking, and Payment Hubs.
  • Lead artificial intelligence security incident response and ensure remediation processes meet financial regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on artificial intelligence governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical artificial intelligence adoption.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers in artificial intelligence governance and cybersecurity best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership in artificial intelligence governance, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 42001 Lead Auditor, or Certified AI Governance Professional.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and regulators.
  • Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence observability tools such as Fiddler, Arize, and MLflow.
  • Familiarity with secure federated learning, differential privacy, and adversarial machine learning defenses.
  • Experience leading cross-functional artificial intelligence security initiatives in regulated industries.
  • Advanced knowledge of cryptography, data anonymization, and artificial intelligence-driven fraud detection techniques.
