Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology including Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or directly related non-U.S. equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 10 years of experience performing complex engineering or system integration work.
  • At least 7 years of experience leading and/or managing complex projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • Successful completion of the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.
  • For non-U.S. Persons requiring access to export-controlled data, obtaining the necessary U.S. Government export authorization before access is required; continued employment is contingent upon the company securing and maintaining that authorization.
Responsibilities
  • Support 787 airplanes that are in service, in production, and under development.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives involving safety, certification, performance, and program issues as directed by the Program Chief Program Engineer and Director of Engineering.
  • Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, and monitor and respond to technical developments throughout the life of a customer introduction program.
  • Manage risks and opportunities and support cross-functional and cross-Integrated Product Team issues.
  • Lead cross-functional technical integration, certification, and project management to resolve complex issues, deliver airplanes, return airplanes to service, resolve supply chain issues, mitigate risks, actualize opportunities, and sustain delivery and production streams.
  • Lead detailed investigations to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and to prevent safety issues.
  • Communicate routinely with internal and external customers, including peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership, regulators, and suppliers.
Desired Qualifications
  • An ABET-accredited bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience with transport aircraft, Boeing 7-Series aircraft, and/or McDonnell Douglas aircraft.
  • At least 5 years of experience with U.S. and/or foreign aircraft certification and regulatory processes.
  • For the Senior level, 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications.
  • Certification and/or experience working with Federal Aviation Administration regulations and Regulatory Administration.
  • Project management exposure or experience, such as Project Management Body of Knowledge or ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008.
  • Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize, and communicate complex technical concepts and problems across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience leading major design changes through multiple phases of the product and certification lifecycle.

Boeing cuts operating loss by half as it delivers 171 planes in Q2 2026

Boeing shares trade at $208.87, down 12% over the past year, as the company continues to lose money building aeroplanes. However, the rate of loss is shrinking rapidly. Operating margin improved to negative 5.4% over the past twelve months, up from negative 12.4% a year earlier. The second quarter of 2026 turned positive at 0.6%. Boeing delivered 171 aeroplanes in that quarter, its highest total since 2018. The commercial aeroplane unit showed a negative 2.7% operating margin in Q2 2026. Programme cash margins on the 737 and 787 run slightly above breakeven, with management attributing this to pricing drags that dissipate as deliveries continue. Management expects to ramp 737 production to 52 aeroplanes per month, with no supply-chain constraints anticipated. The Air Force One programme took a $280 million charge in Q2 2026.

Boeing upgraded to Buy by Argus on Q2 cash flow turnaround and $715B backlog

Argus upgraded Boeing from Hold to Buy on 11 August, citing the company's long-term prospects in commercial aerospace. Boeing secures $3B revolving credit facility, extends $7B in existing agreements to 2029-2030

Boeing has secured a new $3 billion, 364-day revolving credit facility, replacing an expiring agreement of the same size. The facility, arranged by Citibank and JPMorgan Chase Bank, runs until 23 August 2027, with options to convert borrowings into term loans or extend for another year.
