Requirements
  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Strong technical accounting capability.
  • Demonstrable experience of financial forecasting and working in a commercial, business-facing finance or finance business partnering role.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to partner confidently with senior stakeholders and provide challenge, insight, and recommendations.
  • The ability to adapt, take on new challenges, and operate effectively in unfamiliar areas.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Sales team by applying standard pricing models to new and existing client proposals, guiding price negotiations, and ensuring appropriate margins and cash profiles in line with internal guidance.
  • Support in maintaining the corporate forecasting model, ensuring it remains accurate, robust, and up to date.
  • Partner with colleagues across Finance to assess financial performance, investigate variances, and provide clear financial commentary and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to financial controls, processes, and reporting as part of a programme of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver insightful, timely commercial reporting to support members of the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders, with partnering responsibilities flexing as business priorities evolve.
Desired Qualifications
  • A qualified accountant qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience of financial forecasting and working in a commercial, business-facing finance or finance business partnering role.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
