- A completed vocational qualification is required.
- A journeyman or skilled-worker certificate as an automotive mechatronics technician, commercial-vehicle mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, or comparable qualification is required.
- Several years of practical experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle repair are required.
- Candidates must be physically fit for standing and walking for up to eight hours per day.
- A valid German Class B driving licence is required.
- Candidates must independently organize routes and travel times.
- Candidates must be willing to occasionally stay overnight away from home.
- Candidates must have a valid work and residence permit in Germany.
- Complete structured onboarding in the Flex Team.
- Work at changing ATU locations in the regional area.
- Support workshop teams in their daily operations.
- Perform maintenance and inspection work on vehicles with all types of drive systems.
- Conduct systematic vehicle diagnostics and fault finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Perform repair and service work on mechanical and electronic components.
- Prepare vehicles for main inspections and emissions inspections.
- Organize flexible assignments at ATU locations approximately 50–200 km away by arrangement.
- Work a five-day week from Monday to Saturday with early and late shifts in a two-shift system.
- Experience as an automotive mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, automotive electrician, vehicle technician, service technician, or automotive diagnostic technician is welcomed.
- Experience under former occupational titles such as automotive locksmith is welcomed.
- Experience in technical field service within the automotive sector is welcomed.
- Recognition of qualifications obtained abroad is supported.
- Basic German language skills are welcomed.
