  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment. Proven track record of successful product launches and market adoption.
  • You’re well-versed in the nuances of a complex sales cycle that touches on People, Process, and Technology. Your experience with value-based sales methodologies will be invaluable as you dissect business challenges and inspire stakeholders with a compelling future vision.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with company goals and drive market penetration.
  • Define product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with our target audience.
  • Research and define our enterprise buyer and user personas, their specific needs, pain points, and goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and inform product development.
  • Lead the development and implementation of go-to-market plans, including product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to operationalize particular customer use cases and problems that Sylvera solves.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Sylvera uses lidar scanners to measure biomass in tropical rainforests, having scanned over 16 million trees in Gabon and Peru. The company provides accurate carbon data to organizations and governments, helping them make informed investment decisions in climate action. Unlike competitors, Sylvera does not sell carbon credits or accept payments from developers; it earns revenue by selling access to its proprietary, peer-reviewed carbon data.
