The platform combines cross-device note-taking, tablet handwriting, document annotation and AI-powered tools in one workspace. The service enables teams to capture information during meetings and fieldwork, mark up files, record and transcribe meetings, collaborate in real time and sign contracts. Features include live collaboration, automatic meeting transcripts with summaries, AI-powered insights and natural handwriting capabilities. The platform is GDPR and SOC 2 Type II compliant and designed for fast deployment with minimal IT overhead. Notability for Business offers two pricing tiers alongside existing individual subscriptions. Notability, a popular note-taking application, is launching on Android with a beta waitlist opening today at notability.com/android-2026. Early access begins in April 2026, marking the app's expansion beyond iOS after debuting in 2010. The beta version will feature smooth handwriting with shape recognition, audio recording and transcription, document import, and full mouse, keyboard and stylus support. Android users will also access quick notes from lock screens. The general release will add performance optimisations, AI-powered features through Notability Learn, notes export, Gallery support, a phone-optimised version and advanced drawing tools. Developed by Ginger Labs, Notability has been the App Store's most popular productivity software since 2013, serving students and professionals with digital note-taking solutions.
