Requirements
  • An active and unrestricted California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license is required.
  • National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills focused on delivering high-quality patient care are required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, obtain detailed medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage women's health concerns, including routine gynecological care, prenatal care, and reproductive health issues.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, contraception, and other women's health topics.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as Pap smears, IUD insertions and removals, and other minor gynecological procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and modify care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Address urgent patient needs and manage acute concerns effectively and efficiently.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and cultural competency in women's health.
