Responsibilities

Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
Innovate, create, deploy, and maintain extensive software applications
Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
Research and evaluate a variety of software products
Troubleshoot and identify software problems and work with the team to resolve them

Position Overview:

ShyftLabs is searching for a number of Software Developer Interns to join our team! We’re looking for resourceful student developers who can solve problems and write strong code, while getting to work with and learn from our incredible team of Senior Developers and Engineers. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and on a team, navigate complex code, and continually learn new tools and technologies. React.js and Node.js experience are must haves for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications

Qualifications:

We are proud to offer a competitive salaries for this role, based off experience level. The Software Developer Intern role is preferably hybrid, with 2 days per week spent in our Toronto office.
