Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of direct mail marketing experience
- With 5+ years experience of full campaign ownership (Strategy, Planning, Executing and Analyzing)
- Experience in performance marketing, ideally in a Fintech company or startup environment
- Expert-level in managing direct mail and Offline campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead and hit fixed goals
- A rigorous, data-driven, and highly analytical mindset with a strong understanding of attribution models
- Ability to build an offline media plan taking into account CPM, messaging, audience reach and performance based optimizations to yield the highest ROI
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written & verbal
- High degree of creativity and ability to tell stories
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of direct mail and offline marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the data team to devise strategies that increase production volume and reduce CAC
- Report on campaign / creative performance on a regular cadence; transform data into meaningful insights
- Understand and quickly react to changes in marketing analytics that achieve goals
- Create and maintain a yearlong creative testing roadmap for direct mail campaigns
- Rigorously test direct mail attributes; from content and format to lists, selects, and segmentation
- Introduce new test variables aimed at improving response rates: creative, offer, inserts, envelopes, etc
- Ensure that all campaigns have a clear definition of success and approved measurement plan in place
- Collaborate with product and compliance teams to ensure that all creative reflects accurate information
- Work with design, content, compliance teams to produce flawless collateral
- Proofread, QA assets, traffic creative, and ensure campaigns are launched on time and to schedule
- Establish landing pages and redirect URLs are built ahead and tested prior to campaign go-live dates
- Review post-campaign data and ensure results for free of any major issues
- Analyze campaign results, report at regular intervals (30/60/90 days), provide recommendations
- Deliver effective messaging through segmentation, message customization, and audience-first thinking
- Improve operational efficiencies including increased speed to market and reduced production timelines
- Communicate delivery timelines and deadlines for internal stakeholders to meet production volume goals
- Conduct audience research; identify opportunities (use-cases, pain points) for existing and new products
- Participate in discussions to help identify target customer segments and potential target prospects
- Drive multiple concurrent projects, meetings, feedback / asset reviews for programs
- Proactively share competitive insights to marketing and design teams to assist in collateral development
- Work with data/growth/product team to identify opportunities for existing and new landing pages
- Work with leadership, capital markets, data, biz ops to align on production goals and forecasts
- Own internal and external partner relationships, setting goals and managing timelines
- Drive offline channel performance across offline channels such as TV, Radio and OOH
- Leverage data to inform best practices and the evolution of each channel
