Requirements
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required.
- A valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license, Category E, is required.
- Proficiency with computers and diagnostic tools is required.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations is required.
- The candidate must perform tasks according to aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals.
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- The candidate must be eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card.
- A valid Class 5 automobile driver's licence is required.
- French and English communication skills are required because signature documents, procedures, specifications, and technical regulations are in English.
- The candidate must be able to analyze and resolve problems.
- The candidate must complete tasks accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
- The candidate must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled routine maintenance tasks assigned by the coordinator.
- Complete post-maintenance certification of aircraft.
- Rectify defects identified during routine inspections or reported by flight crew after a flight.
