  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., M.S. with 3+ years of industry experience)
  • Understanding of microscopy fundamentals, including components and modalities
  • Proficient in developing software pipelines for image processing in Python
  • Comfortable collaborating with a diverse team, especially those in the biological sciences
  • Enthusiasm for developing better therapeutic options for patients in need
Responsibilities
  • Partner with therapeutic discovery teams to use insitro's imaging platform for industrial-scale drug target validation.
  • Develop and implement computational imaging and computer vision algorithms from literature to detect phenotypes from pixel data
  • Work with software developers and machine learning engineers to design, test, and deploy scalable image processing pipelines for drug target validation
  • Join a team of experts for microscopy users within the company, creating training materials and hosting office hours to assist insitro scientists and engineers
