Requirements
  • Demonstrated success as a product manager for an infrastructure offering with enterprise customers.
  • Deep understanding of modern hardware performance considerations, including compute, memory, and storage optimizations.
  • Familiarity with key concepts in distributed systems, storage scaling, and high-availability infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.
  • Experienced in successfully delivering complex cross-company wide initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.
  • Solid understanding of database fundamentals (types, uses, and features of databases).
Responsibilities
  • Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.
  • Partnering closely with product managers working on our database, analytics and AI offerings to ensure the platform infrastructure supports their workloads.
  • Collaborating with partners focused on platform infrastructure and key integrations with our database products.
  • Collaborating with product, design and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.
  • Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.
  • Bringing an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical undergrad degree preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity and experience working with infrastructure platforms, such as VMWare, Nutanix, Dell, IBM.
  • Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, used/managed Postgres.
  • Experience working with infrastructure for AI and analytics workloads, including considerations for hardware acceleration (e.g., GPUs, specialized AI hardware).
