Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field: business, supply chain management, engineering and four years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, indirect MRO management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong process improvement skills
  • Knowledge of cost forecasting and economic principles
  • Effective analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate successfully
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
  • Oversees procurement functions, which includes, developing quality standards, financing purchases, negotiating prices, buying materials, outsourcing, supplier selection, and inventory control.
  • Collaborates with business managers and senior leadership to ensure procurement functions are aligned with business goals.
  • Creates a globally uniform procurement organizational structure and processes; manages to sustain a competitive advantage.
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves processes, utilizing knowledge of designs, processes, capabilities, methods, and quality control standards to reduce/optimize cost.
  • Develops procurement functionality within ATS software to enable service delivery to all business units and customers; develops enhancements to meet future needs.
  • Manages strategic relationships with key suppliers and industry representatives.
  • Monitors key performance indicators to understand and improve procurement performance.
