- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Ohio driver's license and insurability are required.
- HVAC and electrical experience are required.
- Maintain a comfortable, safe, and secure environment for residents, their families, visitors, and partners.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Assist with moving residents' furnishings as needed.
- Paint residents' living quarters as needed.
- Assist with the ongoing preventative maintenance program, including cleaning, repairing, and operating equipment to minimize abnormal equipment failure.
- Assist with maintaining documentation for fire safety evacuation plans, fire drills, disaster plans, smoking policies, fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.
- Assist with transportation tasks as needed.
- Prior experience in a maintenance department is preferred.
- Prior experience in a health care facility is preferred.
