The Select Account Executive Sales Manager is tasked with all aspects of managing and developing assigned Select Sales Account Executives and Associate Account Executives, developing and maintaining relationships with our Independent insurance agencies partners in the assigned territories to drive small commercial production through virtual and in person meetings.
What you will do:
- Lead a team of 4 - 5 Account Executives across assigned region(s).
- Drive Select Sales Channel initiatives and programs with assigned team.
- Build out Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly KPIs to drive success and engagement with our agency partners.
- Drive awareness of the Cowbell products through the independent agency network.
- Proactively close and onboard newly established relationships throughout the country.
- Effectively communicate Cowbell’s value proposition to key stakeholders at an executive level.
- Make an immediate impact with currently appointed retail brokers.
- Meet and manage weekly, monthly and annual activity metrics.
- Collaborate with a passionate team, have fun, grow, learn, and teach the company along the way.
- Be a point of accountability for distribution success.
What Cowbell needs from you:
- 4+ years of insurance experience in a business development or sales function.
- 2+ years leading a team of Inside Sales reps, preferably with a carrier or MGA.
- Deep understanding of the Independent agency network.
- Small Commercial insurance experience preferred.
- Self-starter, self-motivated and results-oriented mentality. You take initiative to solve problems with high energy and urgency.
- Cyber, Tech E&O and Professional lines insurance experience is a plus but not required
