Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 0–3 years of relevant process engineering experience within the energy, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.
  • Understanding of fundamental process engineering principles, equipment design, and process calculations.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
  • General knowledge of process engineering software and engineering design tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop technical capabilities within a project delivery environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of process engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process descriptions, and engineering reports.
  • Perform routine process engineering calculations, including material and energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing under supervision.
  • Support the development and review of process datasheets and technical specifications for process equipment.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into engineering deliverables.
  • Support the execution of projects through all engineering phases, including concept, front-end engineering design, detailed design, and commissioning support as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project delivery.
  • Assist with technical evaluations, document reviews, and engineering change management activities.
  • Contribute to meeting project schedules, quality requirements, and client expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Ensure engineering work complies with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in hazard identification and process safety reviews, including hazard identification and hazard and operability studies activities, as appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
  • Work closely with senior engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding engineering progress and technical matters.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide engineering input as required.
