Massey Ferguson updates the 9S Series Tractor.

Massey Ferguson updates the 9S Series Tractor. * Posted: March 28, 2026 At the 2026 Commodity Classic, AGCO announced updates to the Massey Ferguson(R) 9S Series tractors, including the addition of Tractor Implement Management (TIM). The team at Massey Ferguson joined American Ag for a conversation this past week to get American Ag up to speed on the news. American Ag talk with Derek Reusser, Market Manager for Tractors, Massey Ferguson and Matt LeCroy, Marketing Manager for Green Harvesting, Massey Ferguson. You can read the original announcement from Commodity Classic below: Massey Ferguson(R) Announces Updates to MF 9S Series Tractor SAN ANTONIO, TX. AGCO (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, announced updates to the Massey Ferguson(R) 9S Series tractors at Commodity Classic, including the addition of Tractor Implement Management (TIM). These updates reinforce the continued commitment Massey Ferguson has to helping farmers achieve better cost per hour through proven efficiency, consistency and field-tested performance. "The addition of TIM and other field-proven systems shows how the MF 9S goes beyond horsepower to actively manage efficiency in the field," said Derek Reusser, senior marketing manager of tractors, Massey Ferguson North America. "These updates are focused on helping farmers achieve better cost per hour by delivering consistent, predictable results in real-world conditions." Turning Power into Predictable Results Designed around outcomes rather than added complexity, the MF 9S Series combines power, automation and efficiency to help farmers manage rising input costs, labor challenges and increasingly narrow work windows. With TIM, the MF 9S allows compatible implements to communicate directly with the tractor, automatically managing speed and key tractor functions to achieve a targeted outcome. By aligning tractor performance with implement demands, TIM minimizes operator variability, making it easier for less experienced operators to perform at a high level while freeing skilled labor to be deployed more strategically. During field trials using a MF 9S and a Hesston by Massey Ferguson(R) LB 2200 Series large square baler, TIM reduced flake variability from approximately 13 flakes per bale to about three to four flakes per bale. Improved consistency helps hay producers achieve better marketability, fewer rejected loads and less rehandling, protecting value without adding time or labor. TIM-enabled operation also resulted in approximately 80 additional pounds per bale, while maintaining consistent bale size. Heavier, more uniform bales improve trailer utilization, reduce the number of trips required and help lower fuel and labor costs across the baling operation. Efficiency Designed to Lower Cost Per Hour The addition of TIM builds on an efficiency-focused foundation that has defined the MF 9S Series since its launch, including fuel efficiency gains designed to lower cost per hour. The MF 9S Series is engineered to deliver up to 15% fuel savings compared to other tractors in its class, helping farmers gain better control over one of their largest variable operating expenses. Over long days and multiple seasons, those efficiency gains compound to directly impact profitability. A dual-circuit system improves thermal management efficiency by up to 70%, allowing the MF 9S to maintain stable performance under sustained load. Improved thermal control supports uptime, reduces stress on components and helps keep cost per hour in check during extended workdays. Additionally, all model year 2026 MF 9S tractors include a free three-year PTx FarmEngage subscription, allowing farmers to track machines, monitor work in real time and manage data across mixed fleets from a single, easy-to-use platform. Helping Farmers Achieve Better Cost Per Hour Whether paired with a large square baler or other high-demand implements, the MF 9S demonstrates its value by helping farmers achieve better consistency, better efficiency and better cost per hour, supporting long-term productivity without adding complexity to the operation. Farmers attending Commodity Classic can visit the Massey Ferguson exhibit at booth 781 to learn more about the MF 9S Series and its latest updates.

AGCO honors america's farmers at the "Great American agriculture celebration" in Washington, D.C. Iconic Fendt(R) golden tractor shines at White House event and celebrates farmers who feed the world. WASHINGTON, March 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - AGCO (NYSE: AGCO) senior leaders joined President Donald Trump, farmers, industry representatives and policymakers at the White House in Washington, D.C., today to recognize the essential role of agriculture in the United States and honor the American farmer. The gathering served as part of a broader observation of the 250th anniversary of American agriculture and highlighted the enduring contributions of those who feed the nation and the world. As a global agricultural company with deep roots in U.S. farming, AGCO participated in the event to celebrate agriculture's legacy and its continued importance to the country's economy, communities and food system. AGCO Chairman, President and CEO Eric Hansotia attended the event alongside the now-iconic Fendt golden tractor, a visual symbol of innovation, customer commitment and pride in American agriculture. "Moments like this are an opportunity to recognize farmers for what they do every day," said Hansotia. "For generations, American farmers have helped shape this nation, and AGCO is proud to stand with them as agriculture continues to evolve and lead us into the future." AGCO's agricultural heritage spans nearly two centuries through its brands, beginning with the 1860 origins of Massey Ferguson(R) and extending today through Fendt(R) premium equipment and precision technology solutions from the company's newest brand, PTx(TM). That legacy reflects a long-standing commitment to helping farmers succeed through dependable machinery, advanced technology and customer-focused support. The golden Fendt 1167 Vario(R) MT track tractor featured during the event was manufactured in Jackson, Minnesota, underscoring AGCO's U.S. manufacturing footprint and its investment in American workers. The tractor previously appeared on the National Mall during the Great American Farmers Market in 2025 and once again served as a visual tribute to farmers and modern agriculture during this week's celebration. Finished in gold to reflect Fendt's Gold Star Customer Care program, the tractor represents the brand's focus on service, reliability and long-term customer relationships. Every Fendt product includes a three-year full warranty along with scheduled maintenance and inspections. AGCO's participation in the event is part of its ongoing commitment to recognizing agriculture's role in shaping the nation's past, present and future. AGCO unveils $1B buyback, PTx growth strategy and farm demand outlook at investor conference

AGCO, the largest pure-play agricultural equipment company, outlined its positioning and capital allocation strategy at an investor conference. CFO Damon Audia said the company generated revenue exceeding $10 billion last year with record free cash flow of $740 million. AGCO's portfolio includes premium brand Fendt and volume-focused Massey Ferguson and Valtra. Its PTx technology division, including an 85%-owned joint venture with Trimble, sells to over 100 original equipment manufacturers and directly to farmers through retrofit channels. Audia identified net farm income as the primary driver of equipment demand, influenced by commodity prices, stock-to-use ratios and weather events. He noted recent uncertainties around fuel and fertiliser costs may cause farmers to delay major purchases, though European farmers typically show more consistent ordering behaviour due to stable subsidies.

AGCO stock stalls at $111 as revenue growth disappoints, EPS drops 21% over two years

AGCO, the agricultural equipment manufacturer, has returned just 1.3% since September 2025, trading around $110.88. Analysts express caution about the stock despite its reasonable valuation of 19.4× forward P/E. The company faces several headwinds. Revenue growth has been sluggish at 2% compounded annually over five years, falling short of industry benchmarks. Earnings per share declined 21% over the past two years, indicating struggles with shrinking demand. Most concerning is AGCO's declining return on invested capital, which has decreased significantly in recent years. This suggests fewer profitable growth opportunities despite past management successes. Whilst the current valuation appears reasonable, analysts believe the company's weak fundamentals present too much downside risk, recommending investors consider alternative opportunities instead.
