Requirements
  • Hold academic and professional qualifications relevant to commercial management (MRICS/MCICES/MCIOB or working towards these)
  • Have proven experience at a senior commercial level, particularly with target contracts
  • Demonstrate the ability to inspire, lead, and communicate effectively across diverse teams and projects
  • Possess a full driving licence
Responsibilities
  • Commercial responsibility and accountability from pre-contract through to final account
  • Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reconciliations, including cash-flow forecasting, financial performance reporting, change management, and negotiation/agreement of final accounts with clients
  • Lead procurement strategy and subcontractor appointments, making use of internal frameworks, negotiating subcontract terms, and managing supply chain commercial performance
  • Contribute to bid reviews, commercial strategy development, and wider business improvement initiatives
  • Act as a key commercial interface with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, providing informed commercial guidance to senior management and project team
