Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, bioinformatics, business, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience focused on data strategy, management, and governance in healthcare/life sciences.
  • Proven record in designing and implementing data solutions, including AI/ML models, within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare-related data structures, modeling, and governance.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards related to data usage and privacy.
  • Experience with enterprise data architecture design and deployment.
  • Proficiency with technology solutions supporting data exchange, governance, storage, analytics, and visualization.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change towards a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a unified data strategy encompassing AI/ML initiatives, data governance, and management to achieve Quest’s mission and objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Services to optimize data usage, enhance outcomes, and drive efficiencies.
  • Oversee the design and application of data solutions, including AI/ML models, to address complex challenges in provider and payer data management, driving product sales and utilization growth.
  • Develop policies and procedures for data management in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement processes for data quality improvement and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and AI to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Promote a data-driven culture and enhance data literacy across the organization to empower teams in leveraging data effectively.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends, driving innovation and adoption within the organization.
  • Implement ethical AI guidelines and practices to ensure responsible data usage.
  • Incorporate eco-friendly data storage and processing methods into data operations.
  • Explore new data sources, lead source validation, participate in contracting terms and devise integration plans.
