Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of applicable marketing experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading the work of others
- Strong background in product marketing; experience with a global sandals brand is highly preferred
- Experience with go-to-market process and breakthroughs
- Experience with international marketing and key markets outside the US
- Understanding of marketing channel strategies and experience with integrating marketing plans across variety of channels, including ecommerce, retail, wholesale, paid, social, influencer, PR, etc
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with global teammates, fostering a highly collaborative environment
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities both written and verbal; ability to communicate including international acumen with all levels of seniority optimally and authoritatively
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize tasks with strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Capable of handling complex situations in a changing environment, with ability to consider decisions in a timely and thoughtful manner
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the global marketing strategy for sandals products, including positioning, seasonal calendars, and campaigns in close partnership with Global Product, Merchandising, and Design teams to support category strategies and objectives - helping to drive the future of how Crocs markets sandals globally
- Be the marketing guide by analyzing consumer trends and insights, market data, competitive brands, prior campaign results, regional nuances, and marketing standard processes to build successful and ownable strategies
- Push boundaries by testing innovative go-to-market strategies targeted to our key consumer affinities, bringing fresh, exciting marketing ideas to the forefront of our planning
- Write compelling campaign briefs and lead cross-functional Global Marketing and Creative teams in development of sell-in assets, creative concepts, photo/video content, omnichannel activation plans, and creative assets that impact brand perception and product desirability
- Ensure that all marketing plans are globally relevant and regionally adaptable, partnering closely with regional teams in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the US to localize plans based on market insights and analytics
- Prepare campaign playbooks to communicate strategy and activation plans to a wide range of global audiences
- Drive seamless execution and project management of all campaigns, ensuring plans are implemented on-brief and timely across multiple marketing channels and regions
- Develop global campaign reporting to identify key wins and findings and apply those takeaways to current and future campaigns
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment, ensuring projects stay on track with seasonal timelines and process
- Handle agency partners from ideation through execution, including onboarding new agency partners as needed
Desired Qualifications
- BS or BA in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
