- A valid driver's license is required because the position requires driving.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail are required.

- The ability to perform strenuous physical activity across a wide range of temperatures and outdoor work environments is required.

- The ability to climb hills and walk long distances across varied terrain is required.
- The ability to traverse wooded areas, construction sites, and undeveloped land is required.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds is required.
- The ability to work in environments that may contain venomous snakes and insects, including ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, and yellow jackets, is required.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required are expected.
- Work as part of a two- to three-person survey crew assisting with a variety of land surveying activities.
- Assist with boundary, topographic, construction staking, and other field surveys.
- Operate and assist with survey equipment, including robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
- Carry supplies, hold equipment, drive stakes, and assist with clearing survey lines as needed.
- Record field measurements and assist in maintaining accurate survey documentation.
- Maintain and transport survey equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Coordinate with the survey crew and project teams to complete assignments efficiently and accurately.
- Prior experience working in an outdoor environment is preferred.
- Previous land surveying experience is preferred.
- Experience with Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Trimble GPS equipment is a plus.
