Brand Marketing Coordinator (JanSport)
What will you do?
A day in the life of a Brand Marketing Coordinator at JanSport looks a little like this.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the brand marketing team by working collaboratively and cross-functionally to develop and execute our seasonal marketing campaigns and 365-day always on strategy for both JanSport Global and Eastpak NORA. This position will report to the Brand Marketing Manager and partner with Brand Communications, eCommerce, and Creatives Services to drive demand and grow market share for the global packs business. You will be an essential part of our team, assisting and helping execute asset production, brand activations, and overarching branded marketing efforts across all channels.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Content planning from strategic briefing to production to final delivery. You will assist with developing creative briefs for owned digital commerce channels like jansport.com and Amazon. You will support ideation and execution on brand direction for photoshoots.
Comms support for community management on social channels, seeding product, and supporting experiential consumer activations.
Maintain organization of marketing assets, media portal management, and helping facilitate global asset distribution, brand activations, sales meeting planning, and other project assistance as requested.
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3+ years of marketing experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
- Detail oriented and very strong organization and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at a time
- A strong motivation to work on all types of projects and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help the entire brand marketing team
- Experience with the key social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
- Understanding of retail and wholesale marketplaces
- Understanding and application of marketing best practices
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
- Public speaking skills and ability to effectively communicate across teams
- Have a strong passion for our brand, brand values, and Gen Z culture
- Interest in developing a brand strategy skillset through exposure & experience
- Highly driven with a positive, high-energy, team-oriented attitude
- Location requirement: Denver, CO
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

Hiring Range:
$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
