Salem Media loss narrows ahead of $1-per-share WaterStone sale

Salem Media reported a narrower net loss for Q2 as it awaits the expected August close of its sale to WaterStone, a Christian nonprofit foundation. Shareholders have approved the $1.00-per-share transaction, with only regulatory clearance remaining. Net revenue fell 15.2% to $45.9 million from $54.1 million year-over-year, though $2.1 million of the decline reflects completed asset sales.
