Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or a closely related field
  • 0-3 years of hands-on wet-lab experience in academic or industry lab setting
  • Strong molecular biology and immunology experimental skillset
  • Hands-on experience in mammalian immortalized/primary cell culture under strict aseptic techniques
  • Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA/Ella, immunoblotting, and molecular biology techniques
  • Familiarity conducting primary literature searches
  • Scientifically rigorous and dependable team player with excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in experimental planning and electronic lab notebook documentation
Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments evaluating and characterizing the impact of RNA delivery, protein expression, and other project-specific immunological readouts
  • Execute experiments including in vitro and ex vivo readouts and novel molecular, biochemical, and cellular biology assays
  • Optimize and culture of primary and immortalized mammalian cells using various formats and conditions
  • Isolate human PBMCs and mouse cells
  • Perform data analysis and communicate findings to the immunology team and key stakeholders
  • Plan and organize work activities to meet team goals and company timelines
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of experiments, protocols, and results in an electronic lab notebook and other technical reporting formats
  • Support cross-functional immunology team projects and contribute to lab organization
  • Crosstrain fellow researchers in lab-based activities
