Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or five or more years of related experience.
  • Three or more years of prior experience in facility maintenance operations.
  • Three or more years of experience managing union personnel and contracts.
  • Two or more years of experience in data analytics and verification.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational discipline, and process improvement expertise.
  • Effective communication, proactive problem-solving, service excellence, integrity, accountability, ethical judgment, and the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage payroll and timekeeping operations, providing direction and performance oversight to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Establish efficient workflows, internal controls, and quality assurance standards for accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Oversee payroll and timekeeping activities, including reporting for wages, deductions, and union and non-union employee time records.
  • Monitor payroll and timekeeping data and reports to identify discrepancies and drive timely resolution.
  • Conduct invoicing and job estimate reviews for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and financial expectations.
  • Validate charge codes and ensure that correct hours worked are applied to each job.
  • Triage and prioritize work assignments, allocating straight-time hours to critical and high-priority work.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Labor Relations to interpret union agreements, support negotiations, and address union employee matters.
  • Maintain documentation and oversee reconciliation processes for accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements through technology and system enhancements to increase efficiency and data integrity.
  • Oversee and optimize payroll and timekeeping systems, including SAP and Timekeeper.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Human Resources, Finance, Payroll Administration, and Labor Relations.
  • Provide high-level support and resolve employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Use data and reporting to support workforce planning, including analysis of labor, overtime, and leaves of absence.
  • Ensure continuity of operations and proactively address risks affecting payroll and timekeeping functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform the position full-time on-site from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and influence, and conflict-resolution capability.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in SAP, Timekeeper, and work order tracking systems, and the ability to translate data into actionable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound judgment and reasoning abilities, with a record of making well-informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to independently handle administrative and operational responsibilities.
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling data to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
