Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, ideally within accounts receivable or a related role
  • High-volume billing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to critically think through processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive communicator who regularly checks in with their manager, and is comfortable asking questions and taking ownership of finding solutions
  • Experience with AR software and ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
Responsibilities
  • Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with contract terms
  • Process and apply incoming payments (checks, ACH) to customer accounts
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts
  • Coordinate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  • Maintain clear records of collections efforts and customer correspondence
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
  • Prepare AR reports and assist with audit and documentation requests
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing and collections processes and workflows
