- A minimum of 5 years of aerospace inspection experience is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting machining and sheet metal parts and sub-assemblies is required.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is required.
- Experience with scanners, lasers, and coordinate measuring machines is required.
- Experience using mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers is required.
- Understanding and experience with AS9100 is required.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspection under AS9102 is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
- The candidate must have a laptop and a mobile phone.
- Perform inspections required by the documentation.
- Ensure parts conform to engineering requirements and documentation.
- Identify and document non-conformances.
- Support non-conformance root-cause analysis when required.
