Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience with all the following:
  • Working in an embedded software development environment with the C / C++ programming language
  • Embedded firmware development using Zephyr or similar Linux based embedded OS
  • Programming in C and Python
  • Embedded system interfaces and troubleshooting multi-processor systems
Responsibilities
  • Develops embedded software/firmware within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources
  • Designs and implements reusable code
  • Performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations
  • Works with a variety of storage interface standards
  • Performs system-level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Zephyr and Linux operating systems
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems which use i2c, GPIO, PCIe, and other hardware interfaces
  • Experience with Ethernet networking and an understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP
  • Working experience with software engineering development lifecycle process
  • Participation in an open-source project
