Requirements
  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • The candidate must have 60 months of experience architecting technical solutions utilizing Oracle relational database technologies, with knowledge of Oracle options, features, configurations, and tools to meet needs for computerized applications.
  • The candidate must have 60 months of experience participating in project system development life cycle activities to collect and organize data and database infrastructure requirements including data modeling (logical and physical), database design, hardware and software, high availability/disaster recovery, and post-implementation monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • The candidate must have 60 months of demonstrated experience as a technical administrator of Oracle Relational databases, including administration tasks listed in the day-to-day tasks to be performed section and involving Oracle database releases 11 and/or 10.
  • The candidate must have 36 months of experience installing, configuring, and utilizing the Oracle Enterprise Manager product (versions 11 and/or 10) to support the administration and monitoring of Oracle databases and overall Oracle infrastructure.
  • The candidate must have 60 months of demonstrated experience working in Unix, especially HP-UX, including knowledge of operating system principles, the ability to work with system/server administration staff on database and application-related issues, and strong knowledge of shell-scripting techniques to support automation of database tasks.
  • The candidate must have 36 months of demonstrated experience provisioning and supporting OLTP and OLAP/Data Warehousing applications with Oracle stored procedures and packages, Oracle Client and Drivers, Microsoft .NET Framework, and Oracle OWB/OBIEE/BI products.
  • The candidate must have 36 months of demonstrated data processing experience working in public/government sector IT applications dealing with the delivery of government assistance or entitlements.
  • The candidate must have 24 months demonstrated experience involved with the development and support of data interface processes between business entities of like (e.g., Oracle/Unix) or dissimilar infrastructures, especially Microsoft Windows and SQL Server RDBMS.
  • The candidate must have 6 months of experience providing Oracle database and operational support for IBM P8/Filenet software (Content and Business Process Management).
  • The candidate must meet contract constraints of a 12-month contract with possibilities of extension and a long-term contract potential.
  • The candidate must be eligible for consideration only if they are an H-1B holder, a green card holder, or a U.S. citizen.
