Job Overview

As a member of the Vehicle Electrical Systems team, this role will focus on requirements, sourcing, integration, and testing of vehicle electrical systems and components.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and document vehicle power distribution and communications architectures
Write requirements and test plans for subsystems and components
Engage with suppliers to identify components for sourcing
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into vehicle designs, considering safety and regulatory compliance

Who You Are:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant educational credential
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering in the automotive field or similar
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to requirements and testing of electrical components
Experience with software and digital communication specifications and requirements is a plus
Experience with hands-on device testing is a plus
Experience with high voltage devices is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment

California Pay Range

$120,000—$160,000 USD
