- Knowledge of housekeeping department operating standards.
- Experience managing and coordinating teams.
- Ability to organize, plan, and control costs.
- Good knowledge of common computer tools.
- Knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and customer orientation.
- Coordinate and organize all housekeeping department activities while ensuring high quality standards.
- Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and back-office areas to ensure they remain impeccable and comply with Mama Shelter standards.
- Manage and control uniforms for all hotel staff.
- Supervise and organize the Lost and Found service.
- Continuously monitor operating standards and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the outsourcing company to ensure service quality and effective collaboration.
- Train, motivate, and support the team’s professional development, organizing training sessions and ensuring completion of mandatory programs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment.
- Handle guest complaints quickly and professionally using problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate daily with Front Office, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Additional languages beyond English are considered a plus.
