This is a highly visible role, responsible for preparation of Company’s technical position papers, all SEC filings. It is an exciting opportunity to join the Company as it is becomes more mature public company and support its future growth in ad tech sector.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for assessment and implementation of all technical accounting topics impacting the company, including evaluation, documentation and communication of all new accounting standards, SEC reporting and general reporting trends
• Preparation of technical accounting memos
• Lead SEC reporting preparation in software solution Workiva (Wdesk)
• Prepare 10-Q and 10-K
• Key participant in preparation of quarterly press releases and 8-K filing requirements
• Ensure annual and quarterly financial statements are prepared accurately, timely and presented in accordance with GAAP and SEC guidelines
• Key participant in month-end close, reporting and account reconciliation process
• Management of quarterly 409a valuations
• Coordinate and manage the execution of audit/review procedures related to financial reporting and technical accounting topics
• Develop relationships and work closely with external auditors, business leaders and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner
• Lead internal control documentation implementation and compliance process (supported by external providers)
• Responsible for identifying, benchmarking and documenting accounting and disclosure-related matters
• Maintain SEC calendar, coordinate key timelines & deliverables, and proactively manage cross-functional information gathering activities
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required (ESG and others)
• Draft Audit Committee communication

What You Will Need:

• 8+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Audit
• 2+ years of experience leading the SEC reporting and technical accounting functions preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Big 4 firm experience
• CPA (or equivalent) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
• Experience with high-growth companies, ideally in tech industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Workiva experience is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a must
• This is a hybrid position in our New York City office and with an in office presence 2 days a week.

• The base pay range for this position is $180,000-200,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid and titled depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
• This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions
