Requirements
  • The position requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Department by performing specialized administrative, accounting, and financial reporting tasks related to the treasury function.
  • Support the Controller in liquidity management by performing bank reconciliations, processing electronic payment requests, monitoring and forecasting cash flow, analyzing bank fees, completing treasury-related reporting, and performing additional accounting functions.
  • Perform daily cash positioning activities, including managing daily liquidity between multiple accounts, monthly bank reporting, preparation of the daily cash report, and daily borrowings and repayments when applicable.
  • Maintain relationships and open communication with banks and other financial service providers to optimize treasury functions, maintain cost-effective fees, and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate the opening, maintenance, and closure of bank accounts.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely execution of wire transfers and payment processing.
  • Support the company by executing or providing letters of credit and researching unclaimed property matters.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including quarterly bank compliance certificates.
  • Provide information for external and internal audits by monitoring cash management activities and ensuring that documentation and reporting of treasury actions are available.
  • Assist with monitoring investment opportunities to maximize returns on surplus funds.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and enhance data accuracy.
  • Ensure the integration of treasury tools with other financial systems.
  • Apply technical knowledge of bank products and understand complex transactions.
  • Follow regulatory compliance requirements and internal controls for treasury functions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Costpoint and banking portals.
  • Relevant certifications such as MBA, Certified Treasury Professional, Certified Public Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst.
