Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience (ideally with a cloud based Insurtech company) in developing partnership strategy and identifying, sourcing, and analyzing new partnership opportunities
  • Broad knowledge of life & annuity (L&A) insurance business and technology trends and their value to clients businesses
  • Stellar project management skills with the ability to manage complex and long duration projects while working in a matrix environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience independently leading complex and/or first-of-a-kind negotiations
  • Detail oriented and thorough, even when managing multiple complex projects
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who's excited to build business a business function in a start-up environment
  • Sense of humility and a desire to roll up your sleeves
  • Some travel required; this person will use their judgment on when to travel to partner/client sites, Haven Technology office or industry events
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Responsibilities
  • Partner Evangelists: Develops key messaging and positioning for our products and executes on campaigns and strategic initiatives that drive sales, and/or brand awareness. Establishes our SI Strategy defining our SaaS offering to the market including target clients, executives and business units
  • Delivery Expertise: Partner with our product/revenue teams and SI companies to develop extended client delivery capabilities by leveraging SI expertise
  • Trusted Advisors: Operate as deep industry experts using thought leadership and consultative skills to create long-term, value-driven relationships with strategic partners
  • Harmonize Value Proposition: Engage mid-senior level executives and help them understand the value proposition by discussing the challenges of the industry and unique needs of the common client
  • Efficient operators: Create repeatable assets and processes to enable partner facing groups to self-service and drive consistency
  • Develop and build partner strategy including identifying, sourcing, and analyzing new partnership opportunities
  • Manage relationships at the most senior levels of partner companies & lead complex deal negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation for a strong working relationship with our partners, including sustainable economics for both parties
  • Build proactive pipeline of client opportunities across life, annuity, and disability carriers by developing a joint market proposition with partners
