We are seeking a qualified Data Engineer to support a potential contract award with a DOD Client. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Engineer supports the technical foundation of DHA’s data governance effort through automation and integration.
- Design and implement governed data products aligned with DHA standards
- Support metadata enrichment, lineage documentation, and quality indicators
- Collaborate with domain owners and data stewards to refine product definitions
- Support lifecycle pilots and governance process testing
- Enable downstream analytics, AI, and reporting use cases
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python (Ra plus)
- Experience integrating data from relational databases, APIs, and semi-structured sources
- Familiarity with metadata extraction, data profiling, and lineage concepts
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and services
- Ability to implement automated validation and data quality checks
- Experience troubleshooting ingestion, transformation, and performance issues
- Familiarity with secure data handling in regulated environments
- Eligibility for Tier 1 background investigation
SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
