LPA Design Studios is seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Project Administrative Specialist to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners. You will work hand in hand with clients, contractors, and colleagues across disciplines by supporting the co-located team dedicated to providing Construction Administration Services on a significant healthcare project.

What you will do:
- You will log, track, and maintain schedules, progress reports, logs, and budget information for projects in design and construction
- You will help collect, review, and process plans and required paperwork to secure plan check approval and permits with the appropriate AHJs
- You will support the development of a proactive approach to obtain permit approvals effectively and efficiently through various agencies
- You will coordinate and communicate with clients, project teams, and contractors to support all project approval processes

Project Administrative Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Valid California driver’s license and CA registered vehicle
- 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting similar projects in the AEC industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with ProCore and Newforma (RFI & Submittal Exchange programs)
- Initiative-taking, detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and assume increased responsibilities

The salary range for this position is $25.50/hr - $40.50/hr and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
