  • Minimum 7 years of related engineering experience with Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of related experience with a Master's
  • Basic understanding of RF, Digital or Power electronics
  • Basic understanding of the Design, Manufacturing and Test process
  • Basic understanding of a functional management role
  • Demonstrated leadership including team building and navigation, technical and inter-personal problem resolution, and mentoring
  • Able to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) clearance
Responsibilities
  • Support design to cost, scope, and schedule activities
  • Requirements definition review
  • Develop acceptance criteria & certification procedures
  • Root cause determination, problem resolution and documentation
  • Provide proposal inputs and review proposal content for both internal and external customers
  • People leadership for an engineering design organization
  • Performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning
  • Support department initiatives, recruiting, technology roadmap creation, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadership
