P.F. Chang's new Tokyo menu includes a stunning sushi boat experience. Ready for a sushi boat? P.F. Chang's just debuted a limited-time dining experience designed to transport guests to the streets of Tokyo. The Summer in Tokyo experience was "inspired by Tokyo's energy, flavors, and culture of discovery," says company representatives. The seasonal menu features new sushi creations, hand rolls, specialty cocktails, and chef-crafted dishes that were designed for sharing. At the center of the experience is the new sushi boat. The dish arrives with a memorable theatrical entrance, through a cloud of dry ice. It is piled high with chilled edamame, a California roll, a shrimp tempura roll, and a choice of two additional rolls: spicy tuna, dynamite shrimp, or kung pao. "Summer in Tokyo is about creating moments that guests can't wait to talk about, photograph, and share," says Jim Mazany, chief executive officer of P.F. Chang's. "From the arrival of the sushi boat, which is unlike anything we've offered before, to the bold flavors found throughout the menu, every element is designed to capture the taste and energy that makes Tokyo one of the world's most exciting dining destinations." In addition to the sushi boat, the Summer in Tokyo menu features a lineup of all-new sushi offerings, including three hand rolls - California, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura - alongside three specialty rolls: Japanese Philly roll, tiger roll, and smoking kung pao dragon roll. The menu also expands into entrees inspired by Tokyo's innovative dining scene. Choose from dishes including NY prime strip steak tataki, oolong Chilean sea bass, lobster & prawn fried rice, and spicy tuna crispy rice. Seasonal beverages, including the new paper crane cocktail and Sapporo Lager, round out the experience. Throughout the summer, P.F. Chang's locations will also feature Tokyo-inspired decor and seasonal menu presentations. Kierland Commons, 7132 E.
