Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of prior clinical nursing experience.
  • Evidence of experience working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Apply principles of purposeful, organized thinking to base nursing actions and make clinical judgments and decisions.
  • Gather data through history taking and physical assessment, and interpret the data to plan and implement interventions that meet patient care needs.
  • Develop, evaluate, and revise the patient's plan of care and nursing actions in response to patient needs.
  • Document care provided and the patient's progress toward desired outcomes.
  • Direct and supervise others in the performance of delegated nursing activities.
  • Teach patients and/or significant others about the plan of care and prepare patients to manage their care after discharge, transfer, or preparation for a procedure or test.
  • Manage time and resources to deliver patient care.
  • Administer medications to patients.
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Lead the health care team.
  • Serve as a resource person for the assigned shift.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new employees.
  • Perform job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

July 01, 2026 Concord Hospital Health System (CHHS) is proud to announce that Concord Hospital - Laconia (CHL) has been recognized with two awards in the 2026 Best of the Lakes Region contest, earning silver honors for Best Hospital and Best Otolaryngology. Hosted annually by the Laconia Daily Sun, the Best of the Lakes Region awards celebrate organizations, businesses, and services that make a positive impact throughout the Lakes Region. This year, more than 47,000 people cast over 310,000 votes, recognizing their favorite local businesses and service providers across dozens of categories. The recognition reflects the trust community members place in CHL providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate care close to home.
