  • Manager Data Systems is a critical role for Cross River and will report to Chief Data Officer. Manager Data Systems should be able to perform the project management and, business analyst activities as part of leading multiple support and project squads

  • Providing various vertical leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork
  • Planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of a meeting focused
  • Determining key performance indicators and how to measure team performance
  • Providing tactical support to implement ideas
  • Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals
  • Responding to inquiries on behalf of the Chief Data Officer
  • Overseeing strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Identifying and helping solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
  • Providing Chief Executive and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company's operations
  • Providing support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
  • Planning, coordinating and leading meetings and workshops
  • Be able to translate business requirement to technical requirement
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with large-scale data or project management and oversight experience. Financial services experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
  • Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
  • Internally and externally recognized subject matter expert that influence the way things are done
  • Bachelors or master's in computer science, MIS, or Management
Responsibilities
  • Manager Data Systems, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
  • Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery by multiple squads including but not limited to kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, etc
  • Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams
  • Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables
  • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
  • Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Supports resource planning or delivery/execution
  • Ensure continuous improvement with respect to velocity, reduction in backlog, and reduction in technical debt
