  • 1–4 years of experience in a compliance, fraud, regulatory change management, or customer protection role in financial services, fintech, or a related industry.
  • 1–4 years experience working in payments, money services businesses, or digital banking platforms
  • Familiarity screening tools (e.g., Persona, G2)
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with identity theft prevention or fraud detection tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, research, and disposition alerts of regulatory actions or changes in regulatory landscapes and complaints monitoring, and website content monitoring
  • Monitor, research, and manage alerts related to data integrity violations
  • Support periodic reviews of customers through thorough analysis of licensing requirements based on vertical and use cases
  • Validate licensing status for any new regulated customer and set up for ongoing monitoring
  • Conduct network compliance reviews of new customers or existing customers adding new types of activity
  • Maintain clear and compliant record of reviews and plan for ongoing monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with Merchant Review team members and Account Managers to ensure customer updates are handled efficiently and in line with internal risk policies.
  • Support card network reporting (NYCE/Star/Accel)
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement
  • Document new procedures that will be used to train and scale the team
  • Maintain internal data sources – source of truth – to support downstream reporting and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support audits, examinations, or reporting by maintaining complete and well-documented case histories.
Desired Qualifications
  • ACAMS, CFE, or similar compliance or fraud-related certification.
  • Familiarity with card network rules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • The base pay for this position is $117,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
