What You’ll Do
Samsung System LSI (S.LSI) designs efficient chips to power your favorite electronics – from tablets, smart phones, and AR/VR devices to connected data centers that power the internet. S.LSI is a world leader in 5G connectivity and image sensors. Specializing in the integration of processor cores, memory, high speed I/O interfaces, and advanced peripherals on a single silicon chip, S.LSI aims to create System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for next generation automotive and data center products.
As an Engineering Program Manager with hands on experience in silicon development you will join our Customer Engineering team in San Jose, CA. In this highly visible role, you will interface with customers and internal design teams in driving discussions across the full silicon development cycle from concept through mass production. This is a customer facing role and you will build strategic relationships as a cross functional leader to prioritize and communicate status/issues/next steps to drive issue resolution. We are seeking a high energy professional with strong communication skills towards internal stakeholders and customers with the ability to lead and develop processes and ideas for effective customer engagement. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to develop strategic relationships with customer teams. Our products are industry-leading and this is a great opportunity to strengthen our partnership with key customers.
Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Customer/Market Insights
- Work as part of customer engineering team and act as local technical interface for managing and driving ongoing silicon programs.
- Utilize your silicon and program management skills to collaborate with internal technical leads and external teams
- Identify and prioritize program risks, drive escalations to senior management with your effective communication skills.
- Drive technical issues to closure demonstrating & leading cross functional teams internally & externally in areas such as: Design, Verification, and Implementation & Validation.
- Develop and build strategic relationships with internal and customer teams to improve efficiency
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelors and 10 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 8 years of experience preferred
- SoC/ASIC Architecture, design, implementation, or validation experience
- Extensive experience with silicon/ASIC design management or silicon program management.
- Experience working with teams across multiple locations
- Understanding of silicon design of consumer hardware and software integration challenges.
- System Level Architecture & HW design expertise and knowledge is a plus
- Experience working with teams across multiple location
- Own project development using well-defined metrics
- Exhibit strong executive presentation as well as written and communication skills with the ability to influence internal as well as external stakeholders

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well
Base Pay Range
$108,000—$218,300 USD
