What You Will Be Doing:

We are hiring a Senior Fusion Technician to assemble Helion’s fusion generators and subscale plasma devices. You will help develop hardware, lead full-scale builds, and coach fellow technicians on the Production Team. You will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA office.

You Will:

Collaborate with a versatile team to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical components
Integrate electromechanical components and systems to the fusion generator’s primary structure
Design and fabricate fixtures to aid in the assembly of electromechanical components
Coach technicians, developing their technical skills
Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the entire production process
Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs
Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports to accomplish our goals

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician focused on rapid prototyping and iteration
Experience operating heavy-duty machinery (forklift, boom/scissor lift, bridge crane, etc.) and using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.)
Experience with high-voltage systems or vacuum systems
Experience designing parts/fixtures in CAD software

The pay range for this position is $34.47/hr - $59.89/hr. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
