Withum’s Healthcare Services Group is comprised of experts that have the depth and breadth of experience to fully understand the many challenges facing healthcare professionals today. The group provides advisory, audit and tax services to healthcare systems and hospitals, federally qualified health centers and community health centers, medical groups, physician and dental practices, healthcare joint ventures and various other types of healthcare organizations.
The Tax Supervisor role will work exclusively with Withum’s Healthcare Services group providing tax compliance and tax consulting services to healthcare organizations. You’ll be working with a team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders who are focused on the Healthcare industry. How You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Coordinating as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the preparation, review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms 990; 1040, 1065; 1120; 1120-S and any applicable foreign filings (e.g. 5471, 926, FinCEN 114)
- Working on various tax consulting special projects
- Attending professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry
- Working on day to day tax assistance to our healthcare industry clients
- Supporting and coordinating with our healthcare group’s audit and consulting teams
- Contributing to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm’s healthcare niche practice
The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters of Science in Taxation preferred
- CPA License preferred
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- General tax experience
- Experience working with healthcare systems and hospitals is preferred but not required
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem solving skills
The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in Washington, D.C. or New York City please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. Washington, D.C. ranges are from $90,000 - $140,000
New York City ranges from $90,000 – $130,000
