Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university is required.
  • At least 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Experience administering benefit programs is required.
  • Solid knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources administration is required.
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The employee must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Follow Legends Global Human Resources and business conduct policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations concerning employment.
  • Administer Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel.
  • Perform recruitment activities, including writing and placing advertisements and recruiting, interviewing, testing, and selecting employees for vacant positions.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientations.
  • Maintain records of benefits plan participation, personnel transactions, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Coordinate or provide training to managers on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment prevention.
  • Coordinate or provide Legends Global Customer Service Training to employees.
  • Advise management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Advise the corporate office of EEOC complaints and other employee relations problems.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administer the Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Administer the performance review and salary administration program.
  • Administer benefits programs, including life, health, dental, and disability insurance; pension plans; vacation; sick leave; leave of absence; and employee assistance.
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports for the insurance carrier.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons for employee separations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; and address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Finance, General Manager, regional supervisor, or corporate office.
Desired Qualifications
  • Workday experience is highly preferred.
  • Workday recruiting experience or equivalent is highly preferred, including generating job requisitions, conducting background checks, preparing offer letters, and onboarding.
  • Human Resources certification is preferred.
