Senior Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer - Web/Backend for our Quality team in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting and maintaining automated testing ecosystems, integrating quality checks into development workflows, and driving technical standards that continuously improve quality across our engineering organization. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape critical quality processes, build tools that empower engineering teams to ship with confidence, and bring an exceptional experience for our learners on every release.

You will:

• Build and extend tooling and services to enable automated testing, manage testing complexity and tests at scale
• Architect and integrate quality into CI/CD workflow, developing systems to execute, monitor and track automated tests efficiently
• Improve monitoring and observability across the product by building scripts and tools that analyze and visualize the overall quality status

You have:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a solid understanding of backend and web application development and testing
• Proven experience designing and implementing robust test infrastructure and pipelines
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker) for test infrastructure provisioning and environment management
• Familiarity with event-based architectures and the unique challenges they present
• Understanding of cloud services (especially AWS) and architecture best practices to provision, manage, test and optimize cloud resources
• A track record of building, maintaining, and extending systems and tooling for test infrastructure, deployment, and environment management
